Description: This course provides an introduction to the Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) used by the US Army Corps of Engineers to evaluate areas potentially contaminated with military munitions and prioritize remediation actions. Students receive a general overview of the rationale behind the MMRP, learn when it is applicable, and learn about the roles, responsibilities, and interactions of the various stakeholders. The course covers several types of responses to address munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) and munitions constituents (MC). Categories of response include: identification, detection, investigation, removal actions, and remedial actions.

NOTE: In order to receive credit for this course you will need to register for and pass the Ammo-87 Final Exam. Completing this course is a prerequisite for taking the final exam.

Audience: Personnel involved in the Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP).
