Description: This course provides technical personnel with a basic knowledge of bombs. This course defines various terms related to bombs and provides a description of the different types of bombs and associated components. Also provided is information on the general packaging, marking, and safety precautions unique to the different types of bombs.

Audience: This course is intended for those who require a fundamental understanding of bombs. Completion of Ammo-77-CPE-DL (Characteristics of Propellant and Explosives) is recommended.

Length: Approximately 3 hours (self-paced learning)

Special Information: This course is provided as a web-based course. Students must have web access, a CAC card, and an AKO account. Students must register through ATRRS for course credit. It is recommended that you have a high-speed Internet connection in order to view the course.
