Description: This course provides technical personnel with a basic knowledge of artillery ammunition. This course defines various terms related to artillery ammunition and identifies which items fall into this family of ammunition. The students will be provided with an understanding of the functioning characteristics of artillery ammunition as well as components and identification and packaging specifications.

Audience: This course is intended for those who require a fundamental understanding of artillery ammunition. Completion of Ammo-77-CPE-DL (Characteristics of Propellant and Explosives) is recommended.
