Ammo-64-DL Class V Issue and Turn-In Procedures for Using Units (4E-F45/645-F29 (DL))

Ungraded knowledge checks are distributed throughout the content to provide students with immediate feedback about their level of understanding in each topic. Graded multiple choice questions are provided at the end of each course. 75% of these must be answered correctly to complete the course. After three unsuccessful attempts to do so, the course will be marked as unsuccessful.

Description:  This course satisfies functional training and refresher training requirements for military personnel designated to request and draw Class V items for their units as prescribed by DoDI 5160.68, AR 385-10, and DA PAM 385-64. This course provides a comprehensive review of the procedures to properly request, draw, and turn-in Class V materials for units, as well as technical training in conducting ammunition authorizations, requests, and issues, ensuring field accountability of sub-unit turn-ins, preparing ammunition for turn-in, completing reconciliation documentation, and ensuring proper management of the amnesty program.

Audience:  Ammo handlers, warehousemen, explosives truck/forklift operators, ammunition inspectors, ammunition and storage operations planners and supervisors, ammunition operators, technicians, and specialists, and additional personnel designated to request and draw Class V materials for units as prescribed by DoD 5160.68, AR 385-10, and DA PAM 385-64.

Length: Approximately 8 hours (self-paced learning)

Special Information:  This course is a web-based (online) course hosted on the Army Learning Management System (ALMS). Students must have web access and a CAC card. Students must register through ATRRS for course credit. A high-speed Internet connection is recommended to complete the course.


NOTE: This course is rated FD3 and is not available to International Military Students.
